Tournaments in May
There’s still a bunch of activity going on in Altered on Board Game Arena this month. So here’s a quick run down on all the tournaments that are being run this month that you can get yourself involved in on BGA.
Altered Re:Union starter deck tournament
This will be Altered Re:Union’s 1st Tournament – The Inaugural Starter (Pre-Con) Deck Tournament is aimed at testing the community submitted decks that are in the running to become the new Starter Decks post the 20th May change of stewardship of the Altered TCG from Equinox to the community. Registration opened on Saturday May 2nd and the tournament is due to take place on Sunday May 10th from 9pm CET to 11:30pm CET.
The tournament will be five rounds, with each round set for a 30 minute time limit (15 minutes for each player) under BGAs chess-clock rules. The cast will be provided by @sigis on https://twitch.tv/sigismundd in French.

Invicta Championships
The registration for the second InvictaGC Altered tournament on BGA is now opten. The Invicta Championships’ May Cup will fire on May 16th at 7:30pm (EDT). Sign-up here: https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=558071
The FINAL Clash!
One final big tournament hosted by Cohlrabi. He plans to to throw a ton of uniques at players so they can enjoy them until May 20th (and possibly beyond!). The top 8 Prizing will be = 25-20-15-15-10-10-10-10 Uniques. Additionally random other prizes given out to players, and stream watchers.

Monday Night Top Cut
Weekly Gathering Every Monday at from 7:00 PM CET Expedition Structure
- Random split into 2 groups
- 3 Swiss rounds
- Top 8 advances to the Topcut (Top 4 from each group)
- Final stage: single elimination
- Standard Constructed format
Only the greatest explorers will be remembered among the Alérions. Will you be one of those who reach the summit?

Rapid Fire Single Elimination

Physical Tournament in Abbeville
At the end of Altered adventure, you are invited to join the tournament in Abbeville (80).
It’s on May 16th at 9:30 AM. The Entry fee for the tournament is €28, with a collector’s display stand to be won for the winner!
There will be edition boosters for every participant and exclusive offers on display stand purchases throughout the day. There’s plenty of room and they are always very generous at events.
Reserve your spot either on their Facebook page “Maxi rêves” or by phone at 06 73 94 21 02. The more reservations they have, the sooner they can prepare the prizes.
This is the very last Altered tournament in the store; they want to both please the players and clear out as much stock as possible, so it should be pretty fun.
Altered’s Odyssey – Tournament XX
This is a fun tournament every Sunday at 10am CET with up to 14 players in normal 1 vrs 1 mode over 3 days which is turn by turn based. There’s no prizing, but you can test your favourite hero in a competitive environment.
