The Penultimate Tournies

Ludiverse, Paris 19th April 2026

This face to face event in Paris at the Ludiverse weekend of gaming managed to attract 72 competitors looking to take the title the weekend before last. The competitors were eventually whittled down to a top 8 containing two Kojo decks, a Turuun deck, a Teija deck, a Kauri deck, a Matz deck, a Sierra deck and an Afanas deck (proving there’s life in the old dog yet!).

The Matz deck, Sierra deck, Tieja deck and Afanas deck all got knocked out in the quarter finals. This left P3Rigo’s Kojo & Booda deck, Matata06’s Kauri and Puff deck, VicMan’s Kojo and Booda deck and Zerosuitsamuss Turuun & Benih in contention. VicMan and Zerosuitsamuss made it through the semi’s into the finals, with VicMan taking down the tournament with good old Kojo and Booda.

Burning Cat, Oraison 25th April 2026

The Burning Cat tournament in Orason attracted thirty three competitors to the third such event to take place there after Burning Rabbit and Burning Sheep. 21CH205 (Turuun) took the tournament down with a win in the finals against Luc Castanet (Nevenka). Zadibouc (Turuun) and Zanton (Atsadi) were the unlucky semi finalists.

The Altered Re:Union team gave a presentation at the festival to give the team’s vision for the future of the Altered TCG under the community ownership going forwards.
